Sowing Seeds for Over 40 Years
“Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy endureth forever.” Psalms 107:1.
Over the course of decades in the ministry, Bishop E. N. Skyers and Pastor V.B. Skyers have continued to earnestly listen to the voice of the Lord concerning their call to serve God’s people.
The first small congregation was established in 1961, it was a church in Chorlton-cum-Hardy Lancashire; a suburban area of the city of Manchester, England. It was known locally as Chorlton. At that place many souls were saved and baptized.
Saints in Christ Jesus choose love!
The noted author James Allen wrote that: “our mental attitude towards others will faithfully react upon us, and will manifest itself in every relation of our lives.” Thus only a sincere and enduring love for the brethren will be the ultimate cause of the abundance of love in our daily lives.
1 Corinthians 13 declares: “Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, and have not charity. I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and undestand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I have bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.”
